Hawzah News Agency- worshippers gathered in mosques to mark the occasion in a spiritual atmosphere filled with recitations of the Holy Quran, Mevlidi Sherif, hymns, qasidas and salawat.
Religious scholars and preachers highlighted the exemplary life and character of Prophet Muhammad in their sermons, emphasizing the importance of following his Sunnah and adopting his beautiful morality in daily life.
This year's observances mark the 1,501st anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad and are being held under the theme “Our Prophet and Beautiful Morality.”
Following the religious programs, charitable organizations and philanthropists offered refreshments and treats to worshippers outside mosques.
